Ultrahigh Sensitivity Temperature Sensor Based on Harmonic Vernier Effect

چکیده
A high-sensitivity and miniature open cavity Fabry–Perot interferometer (OCFPI) encapsulated with the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) film based on high-order harmonic Vernier effect is designed experimentally investigated. To best of our knowledge, PDMS applied for first time to fill OCFPI obtain high-temperature sensitivity. The resonant dip (peak) wavelength temperature sensor monotonically moves toward shortwave direction as increases from 40 °C $60~^{\circ }\text{C}$ due effects expansion thermo-optic property PDMS. proposed provides following excellent performance advantages: 1) compared traditional all-fiber air-cavity OCFPIs sensitivity approximately 10 pm/°C, has a much higher −3.4 nm/°C at range notation="LaTeX">$40~^{\circ – magnification factor ( notation="LaTeX">${M}$ -factor) 11 when order notation="LaTeX">${i} =4$ ; 2) exhibits good reversibility during heating cooling processes, measured -factor matches well theoretically calculated -factor; 3) shows stability maximum deviation 0.567 nm (internal envelope fourth-order effect) 0.042 (upper envelope) within 450 min; 4) inexpensive, robust, easy fabricate, compact, which can be used in harsh environments. Therefore, it potential dynamic measurement.

Ultrahigh Sensitivity of Anomalous Hall Effect Sensor Based on Cr-Doped Bi2Te3 Topological Insulator Thin Films
Anomalous Hall effect (AHE) was recently discovered in magnetic element-doped topological insulators (TIs), which promises low power consumption and high efficiency spintronics and electronics. This discovery broadens the family of Hall sensors. In this paper, AHE sensors based on Cr-doped Bi2Te3 topological insulator thin films are studied with two thicknesses (15 and 65 nm). It is found, in b...
متن کاملHighly sensitive refractive index sensor based on two cascaded microfiber knots with vernier effect
A highly sensitive refractive index (RI) sensor based on two cascaded microfiber knots with vernier effect is proposed and demonstrated by theoretical arithmetic. Deriving from high proportional evanescent field of microfiber and sharp spectrum fringes induced by vernier effect, a slight change of ambient RI will cause large variation of effective RI and significant wavelength shift of resonant...
متن کاملHighly sensitive refractive index sensor based on cascaded microfiber knots with Vernier effect.
We propose and experimentally demonstrate a refractive index (RI) sensor based on cascaded microfiber knot resonators (CMKRs) with Vernier effect. Deriving from high proportional evanescent field of microfiber and spectrum magnification function of Vernier effect, the RI sensor shows high sensitivity as well as high detection resolution. By using the method named "Drawing-Knotting-Assembling (D...
متن کاملCouple Stress Effect on Micro/Nanocantilever-based Capacitive Gas Sensor
Micro/nanocantilevers have been employed as sensors in many applications including chemical and biosensing. Due to their high sensitivity and potential for scalability, miniature sensing systems are in wide use and will likely become more prevalent in micro/nano-electromechanical systems (M-NEMSs). This paper is mainly focused on the use of sensing systems that employ micro/nano-size cantilever...
